Dental Technology Marketing Social Media For Dentists

Marketing Your Dental Office Technology (Social Media Tips) from Dentainment on Vimeo.

Dental technology marketing for your Dental Practice or how to have fun marketing your dental technology, is important, especially if you have dental services that not every practice has.

A perfect example is the CEREC® machine. CEREC® is a remarkable dental technology that not every dentist is set up for, but if you are, you want to make sure that you are marketing the equipment the right way.

Post Dental Technology Videos on YouTube

A Dentainment client actually sent a video to the office that was shot with a cell phone. The video is a CEREC® machine showing off its colors while playing Happy Birthday.

The first post simply said, “How cool, our CEREC® machine sings Happy Birthday, along with making beautiful crowns on same day visits, you’ve gotta love dental technology.”
Now unfortunately on their website, they don’t have a separate URL or a separate page for technology, which you should.

Make Sure your Website has a Separate URL

Dentainment explains that dental practices should have a separate page for each technology. For example, www.godentists.com/CEREC or www.godentists.com/Invisalign. Ask your web developer or designer to make separate pages for your special services, as it will help your Search Engine Optimization or SEO once you start targeting these pages with social media and Google Adwords.

The CEREC® video was boosted using Facebook Advertising, and if you aren’t using Facebook Advertising, you should be. For $50.00 Dentainment boosted the post and had 3055 engagements, the practices post reached 3,732 people. The video had 3,036 video views, one page like, 17 likes and 1 comment. Now once again, if you had a separate URL there would have been clicks back to the website.

The boosted post was targeted to people within a 10-mile radius of the practice and to people who already liked the page. However, when the CEREC® post is seen on your timeline, friends and family of your friends and family will see it as well, upping your credibility level. So not only do you have to market it in a fun and creative way, but you also have to make sure that you are targeting the right people.

Inbound Marketing-Blogging

Dental technology marketing should also include blogging for inbound marketing. You may want to imbed your technology videos in blog posts for your dental office. All you have to do is add unique content that is optimized, 400 or 500 words, and a few inbound and outbound links. When it comes to your website, blog, and social media posts, content is the key.

Video Testimonials

Video Testimonials are another great way to boost your online presence. Perhaps ask your patients if they wouldn’t mind taping a testimonial for your dental practice. If you have CEREC® and you have a CEREC® patient, why not ask those patients for testimonials? Include your city, zip code, and the keywords that best fit the technology in your YouTube descriptions and tags as well.

When it comes to dental technology marketing it is imperative that you target your market. You want to target the people who will be using and needing your services.
